Boiled donuts have about 150 calories per 100 g. Fried donuts have a minimum of 250 calories.
But don’t forget, it doesn’t only matter what you eat, it also matters how much you eat.
Ingredients:
500g cream cheese for cakes
2 eggs
4 tablespoons wholemeal flour
15 tablespoons semolina
salt
honey
creamy yogurt
cranberries
Method:
Beat the eggs, mix them with the cheese, add flour, a pinch of salt and mix well composition.
Add semolina until the composition is bound and dumplings can form from it.
Take a spoonful and place the piles on a bed of semolina.
Form small spherical dumplings, roll the composition through semolina and then flatten them a little. Press with your finger in the middle making a hole in the papanas.
Boil water in a pot. When the water boils, you can also boil the papanas.
After about 2 minutes, the papanas will return on their own. Leave them for another 2 minutes, then take them out of the water with a spatula.
Chef’s secret
I used 15 tablespoons of semolina because the cheese I used was very creamy. If you use dry cottage cheese, you will need much less semolina.
Be careful not to put too many dumplins in the pot to boil, so that they do not stick together.
For a lower calorie count, decorate the papanas with honey, creamy yogurt and fresh fruit, instead of sour cream and sugar jam.
This is a non-fat donut recipe. It is a lower calorie alternative to the classic donuts with flour, fried in oil.
