Cake with vanilla pudding and blueberry jam, a healthier desert.
If you don’t have to cook for kids and you’re on the run, this cake can be a miracle, because you can prepare it extraordinarily quickly, using a bought cake top, vanilla pudding and blueberry jam from the supermarket.
I had enough time for preparing this cake and I preferred to use ingredients as natural as possible, so that my cake can be enjoyed by the children.
I made homemade cake layers, vanilla cream with starch, yolks and milk and I made blueberry jam from frozen organic blueberries.
Ingredients:
cake layers
cranberries
almonds
candies and raspberries for decoration
Method:
Cut the cake into 2 or 3 round slices, depending on its height.
Syrup the cake layers with cold syrup. Boil water with a little sugar and lemon peel.
Spread a layer of pudding and a layer of blueberry jam on each slice of cake.
Dress the cake in pudding and decorate with chopped almonds or walnuts, chocolates and berries.
Ingredients for the Cake layers:
9 eggs
a cup and a half of sugar
14 tablespoons of flour
baking powder
a little salt
Cake preparation method:
Whip the eggs and sugar using a hand mixer.
Add flour and baking powder and continue to mix using the hand mixer.
Pour the composition into a form with removable walls or in a pan covered with paper.
Put the tray in the hot oven.
When the cake is baked take it out of the oven.
Let it cool down.
Ingredients for pudding
200 g starch
250 g sugar
5 yolks
1 l of milk
vanilla essence
70 g butter
a little salt
How to prepare vanilla pudding:
Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
Whip the yolks with 150 g of sugar using a hand mixer.
Prepare a pot, in which you pour all the milk and starch. Stir with a spatula until the starch melts.
Bring the pot to a boil and add the whipped yolks with sugar and vanilla essence.
Stir with a whisk constantly to homogenize the mixture and not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Remove from the heat when the pudding is ready.
Leave the pudding to cool down.
Using a hand mixer, whip the butter taken out of the fridge (neither melted nor frozen) with 50 g of sugar, then start adding the cooled pudding, which has hardened in the meantime. You will get a denser cold cream.

"Incerc sa adopt un stil de viata cat mai sanatos, sa consum in fiecare zi legume, sa inlocuiesc din cand in cand proteinele animale cu cele vegetale si sa consum cat mai putini carbohidrati. Mananc in general disociat si tin fasting hipocaloric atunci cand simt ca pot incepe o cura de slabire."
