Gingerbread cake is one of my favorite sweets, and the scent of cinnamon makes me really feel like Christmas is coming. What could be more wonderful when it snows outside and carolers can be heard under the window, than a cup of tea with ginger and roibos and gingerbread prepared at home.
Gingerbread with rye flour, ingredients:
300 g rye flour
150 g brown sugar
50 g of honey
100 g butter
2 eggs
salt
1 sachet of baking powder
spices
How to prepare gingerbread:
Mix all the ingredients for the gingerbread, at room temperature, first use a a fork, then use your hands . I added a tablespoon of warm ginger and roibos tea, because I found the composition too dry.
Form a ball of the resulting dough, cover it with plastic wrap and leave it in the fridge overnight.
The next day, turn the oven to 200 degrees and let it heat up,
Put a layer of rye flour on the clean countertop and start spreading a sheet with the rolling pin. If you use more flour on the counter, you will be able to spread the sheets more, and the biscuits will come out thinner and crispier. If you use less extra flour, you will spread a thicker sheet, and the gingerbread cake will be fluffier.
Using the shapes, cut the gingerbread out of the spread sheet. Be careful when removing the molds not to deform the dough!
Carefully place the shapes in the pan and place them in the hot oven. I left them for 10 minutes at 150 degrees, but it depends on the oven, so make sure they don’t burn.
Remove the cakes from the pan and place them on a grid to cool, then you can keep them in a tin box.

Cu ajutorul unui mixer bate albusul cu zaharul pudra.
Adauga sarea si zeama de lamaie.
Coloreaza glazura cu colorant alimentar.
Se poate adauga si o lingura de amidon, eu am facut glazura doar din albus de ou si zahar pudra.
Using a mixer, beat the egg whites with the powdered sugar.
Add salt and lemon juice.
Color the glaze with food coloring.

Dar atentie la cantitati, o lingurita de ceva bun nu a omorat pe nimeni, insa ai grija la numarul de portii si la cat de des te rasfeti."

"Incerc sa adopt un stil de viata cat mai sanatos, sa consum in fiecare zi legume, sa inlocuiesc din cand in cand proteinele animale cu cele vegetale si sa consum cat mai putini carbohidrati. Mananc in general disociat si tin fasting hipocaloric atunci cand simt ca pot incepe o cura de slabire."
