Sauteed spinach is one of my favorites healthy dish.
Spinach leaves are rich in Oxalic acid, probably to protect them from animals and insects that try to eat it. This is why you sometimes feel a strange sensation on your teeth when you eat raw spinach. But if you cook it, this sensation will not be as strong. In addition, if you squeeze a few drops of lemon over it, the vitamin C from the lemon juice will help dissolving Oxalic acid.
Spinach is a green leaf vegetable, native to Persia, it contains iron, vitamin A, vitamin B9, vitamin K, aso.
Vitamin B9, or folic acid, is not only useful for pregnant women, but for everyone. It is necessary for the proper functioning of the body, contributing to the production of energy, it adjust the functioning of the nervous system and the transformation of proteins and lipids in the body.
Vitamin A has an antioxidant effect and keeps cholesterol levels under control. It improves our night vision, supports the immune system and helps us heal faster in case of infections or inflammation.
Vitamin K prevents the heart diseases.

Spinach

Method:
I prepared these dish in dozens of ways, the shortest and healthiest option I have reached is the following:
The most boring operation in the preparation of fresh spinach is washing. I put the spinach in a bowl, pass it through several waters, then wash it leaf by leaf.
Put a pot of boiling water and dip the spinach in hot water, or put the spinach in the pot and pour hot water over it, this method will keep its fresh green.
Cook the onion in a pan, you can also add peppers and carrots, all chopped into dices. Add a little hot water over and turn off the heat.
Mix the onion (and pepers and carrots) with the home-made tomato juice and with the spinach.
For a good control of the quantities of vegetables and rice or couscous, I prepare the spinach separately. If you add couscous or rice, boil them separately and mix them when they are ready with the spinach meal.
If the spinach is frozen and you don’t have time to defrost it, put it directly in the pot on the fire with the vegetables and pour hot water over it.
When cooking spinach without rice or couscous, I usually serve it with eggs.
Before eating spinach, squeeze a little lemon juice over it, it will give it a special flavor.

Pe cat de blamat de unele persoane, pe atat de apreciat de altii, este oare veganismul o necesitate a vremurilor noastre?
Intr-o lume in care totul se face industrial, de la alimentatie, la cultura si educarea psihicului, era nevoie de un curent care sa puna accentul pe individ, pe nevoia lui de a iesi din multime, pentru a trai dupa propriul plac si nu odata cu valul social ghidat de reclame pentru o viata comoda dar lipsita de sens.

"Incerc sa adopt un stil de viata cat mai sanatos, sa consum in fiecare zi legume, sa inlocuiesc din cand in cand proteinele animale cu cele vegetale si sa consum cat mai putini carbohidrati. Mananc in general disociat si tin fasting hipocaloric atunci cand simt ca pot incepe o cura de slabire."
